Service scope

  • DNAObs is a software and analytics service. We do not collect biological samples or operate a wet lab.
  • You retain full ownership of all genome files and derived reports. DNAObs acts as a data processor under your direction.
  • Interpretations are informational and must be reviewed with qualified clinicians before medical action.

Responsibilities & safeguards

  • You confirm you have lawful rights to the genome data you upload and that informed consent has been obtained.
  • DNAObs commits to contractual confidentiality, encryption, and breach notification obligations.
  • Any optional data handoff to third parties is executed only after written approval and mutual agreements.

Legal documentation

  • Business associate agreements (BAA) for covered entities.
  • Data processing addenda (DPA) aligned with GDPR, LGPD, and other data protection regimes.
